[Class 7 (ii)] The two halves 1, 2 of a crank-case, split transversely to the crank-shaft, have extensions 3, 4 which enclose cooling fans and are connected to a cylinder cooling-air jacket 5. Induction air is drawn into the carburetter through a filter located in an inclined passage 12 which leads by a passage 15 to a passage 17 round the extension 3.
