634,114. Safety razors. BEVIS, J. E. March 12, 1947, No. 6846. [Class 30] The handle of a safety razor of the type shown comprises a sleeve 1 movable in either direction against the action of a spring 2 or 3 and adapted to push a ring 4 towards the head of the razor when, as the blade becomes worn, extra thrusting pressure is exerted on the razor, and, during shaving, pushes a ring 5 in the opposite direction to an extent depending on the resistance encountered. Wear of the blade and strength of the beard are indicated by markings 6 and 7 respectively.
