Abstract

664,626. Shaving appliances. WALKER, J. S., and FRASER & GLASS, Ltd. March 9, 1950. [May 4, 1949] No. 11892/49. Class 30. In an underarm shaver, having a longitudinally curved support 1, provided with lateral comb teeth 3, 4 and a handle 2, at one end, a double-edged razor blade 9 is clamped to the support by a cover plate 8 and the surfaces of the teeth, on which the blade partly rests, are provided at a point 6 with a step or projection of a depth equal to the thickness of the blade. The teeth are curved or tapered towards their free ends from the point 6 and the head of the bolt 12 which with the nut 11 secures the cover plate and blade to the support, may be affixed to, or imbedded in the plate.
