667,558. Razors. FAHMI, R. Aug. 15, 1950. No. 20240/50. Class 30. In a safety razor a double-edged wafer blade 4 is flexed between the concave face 10 of the head 1 and a guard 8, the edges of the guard being plain bevelled at 11, 12 to recede from the edges of the blade and one edge of the guard is provided with terminal teeth 13, 14 and narrower, equally spaced central teeth 15, 16, 17 and the other edge of the guard is provided with terminal teeth 18, 19 and one narrower central tooth 20. The teeth project beyond the edge of the blade to prevent injury to the face during shaving but allow faster shaving than the normal guard with a continuous row of spaced teeth. Hair and soap pass freely over the bevelled edges of the guard so that the razor may be cleaned without dismantling.
