Abstract

396,541. Safety razors. BERGDOLL, E. C., 5239, Wynnefild Avenue, Philadelphia, U.S.A. June 27, 1932, No. 18114. [Class 30.] A convex guard-plate 10 for a safety razor is provided with longitudinal bars 17, circular in cross-section, which .are connected thereto by integral arms 16 the curvature of which forms a continuation of that of the plate. The bars 17 serve to hold the skin taut for shaving, the lather and stubble passing through slots 18. The bars may be smooth or notched. Specification 139,031, [Class 30, Cutlery], is referred to.
