Abstract

399,692. Safety razors. MACH, W., 12/I, Gregorciceva, Maribor, Jugo-Slavia. Jan. 23, 1933, No. 2192. [Class 30.] An adaptor-plate 1, for spacing the blade from the guard-plate 11 in a safetyrazor of the kind known under the Registered Trade Mark " Gitlette,'' has a transversely slotted portion 5 acting as the guard, is adapted to be slid from one end over the guard-plate 11, and has solid edges 17 which cover the ends of the teeth 9 of the guard-plate and grip them frictionally, whilst still allowing the passage of lather therethrough. The plate, shown in Fig. 1. is of a thin flexible metal, whereas that in Fig. 3 is of artificial bone with resilient side-portions. The plates have concave middle-portions and side-portions curved in the manner shown. They are provided with the usual peg holes joined by a long medial slot.
