Abstract

265,425. Sobel, H. J. G. April 14, 1926. Fixing by grooved members. - A surgical or other knife or razor with detachable blade is arranged so that the blade 7 may be affixed to the handle 1 with a simple push-on movement. The edges of the tang 6 enter grooved guides 4, 5 and the blade is held against accidental removal by a stud on the handle snapping into a recess 8 in the tang, or by an inclined surface 11 on the handle, Fig. 6, which flexes the tang and retains the blade frictionally.
