Stropping - apparatus. - A device for sharpening razor &c. blades consists of a sharpening - roller a mounted in a frame b and rotated by a handle a<2>, the blade being mounted upon a support c which is pressed to move the blade against the roller. The roller is concave longitudinally and the blade, on being pressed against the roller, is flexed longitudinally, either alone or with the support, so that the blade contacts with the roller along its entire edge; a support c<3> is provided for single-edged blades.
