Sharpening by magnetic action. - Double-edged safetyrazor &c. blades 3 separated by insulating pieces a are positioned on insulating posts 7 and bottom 5 are contained in a box 1 with side magnets 2 so that the blade edges 4 nearly touch the magnets. Instead of separate magnets 2, U-shaped magnets may be used. A modification is described for use with single-edged blades.
