Scissors. - In order to prevent play in the blades and to render scissors self-sharpening in action, the blades are spring-pressed into engagement by springs which press on the blades forwardly of the fulcrum screw. The springs comprise fingers 15 preferably integral with blocks 16, one of which is. tapped to receive the fulcrum screw 14, set flush in recesses in the outer blade surfaces 10.
