Abstract

247,768. North, E. March 27, 1925. Bread knives of the kind having grooves in the face of the blade 1 terminating in notches 3 in the cutting edge, have the grooves 2 disposed alternately on opposite faces of the blade. The cutting edge has a bevel 4 on that face of the blade which is lower when the knife is being used in horizontal position in the right hand in the usual manner, the upper face of the blade being flat.
