[Class 31 (i)] In a cutting- machine in which interengaging knife discs c, d are mounted on shafts a, b and spaced apart by resilient discs e, f, the latter each consist of the surface of a truncated cone, or a portion of the surface of a sphere bounded by two parallel planes, or a concentrically corrugated ring. The discs may be of metal or rubber.
