Abstract

501,075. Safety razors. THORNE, E. S. R. Sept. 15, 1937, No. 25084. [Class 30] An attachment for use in haircutting comprises a bracket 4 carrying a roller 9 in a spring- pressed yoke 8 to serve as a guide to maintain the razor at a suitable angle when the roller 9 and guard comb 1 are in contact with the scalp. The bracket is clamped in position by a screw 5 and slotted arms 4a which engage the usual studs 3. In a modified form, shown applied to a razor having a pivoted blade, a guard plate extends from the bottom of the roller to the edge of the blade.
