Abstract

626,818. Gas turbines. ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY MOTORS, Ltd., CLARK, T., and FEATONBY, J. Aug. 30,1947, No. 24048. [Class 110 (iii)] In a gas turbine plant, the turbine stator 11 is connected to the supporting structure 12 by a circular arrangement of strips 14 which are flexible in radial but not circumferential directions. The strips may be laminated as at 14a, 14b. The outturned ends 19 are clamped between similarly shaped plates 20. The ends 15 may be bent inwards and bolted to a flange on the turbine stator.
