Abstract

593,604. Electric fans. FROST & CO., Ltd., H., and MOSS, A. W. June 8, 1945, No. 14510. [Class 110 (i)] [Also in Group XXXV] Fan blades 13 are mounted directly upon the rotor 10 of a split-phase motor. The rotor 10 has a beaded rim 18 and a radial flange 11. The leading edges of the fan blades are secured by rivets 12 to the flange 11. The blades are also secured to a spider 16 mounted on a spindle 4. The two electromagnets 5, 6 are bolted to a base-plate 1 which carries the bearing 3 and the condenser 7.
