Abstract

496,017. Centrifugal fans. BARTLETT, A. C., and LEONARD, M. S. Feb. 16, 1938, No. 4857. [Class 110 (i)] In a centrifugal fan with an inlet member 6 disposed around the shaft 8 and provided with adjustable vanes 14, the vanes are carried by rods 11 which also support the main shaft bearing 9 from the member 6. The member 12 for actuating the vanes is fitted to rotate around part 10 of the bearing which has a ball race 18 .. 20 between it and the shaft 8.
