465,559. Centrifugal fans. STURTEVANT CO., B. F. Sept. 18, 1936, No. 25463. Convention date, Sept. 18, 1935. [Class 110 (i)] A centrifugal fan has a converging inlet 8 carrying pivot rods 16 which support a hub 12 around the shaft 10, the hub having a rotary member 30 with longitudinal grooves engaged by pins 36 on arms 24 carried by the pivoted vanes 20 which are thus simultaneously adjusted. Each pivot rod is bolted to the inlet 8 and screwed into a conical part of the hub 12 which has a cylindrical part carrying the member 30. The member is adjusted manually or automatically by a rod 42 and crank 44. Specification 358,154 is referred to.
