Abstract

524,703. Centrifugal fans. STOTT, O. Feb. 3, 1939, No. 3695. [Class 110 (i)] In a centrifugal fan, each blade of the impeller slopes backwards with respect to the direction of rotation of the fan and consists of a number of sections, a, b, c spaced apart and so positioned that the air is directed by each section on to the rear face of the next section, which is nearer the periphery. The sections may be straight or curved.
