Abstract

587,514. Centrifugal fans &c. POWER JETS, Ltd., MILLINGEN, R. D. VAN, and WHITE, G. R. Sept. 3, 1942, No. 12486. [Class 110 (i)] In a centrifugal fan &c. the hub 2, disc 3 and vanes 1 are integral, and the sides of the vanes are flat except at the margins, where they are bent in the direction of rotation, as shown in Fig. 4c. The vanes lie in planes of rotation at an angle corresponding to the angle of attack at their minimum radius at the boss.
