Abstract

814,564. Centrifugal fans. BRONSWERK N.V. Dec. 13, 1956 [April 12, 1956], No. 38057/56. Class 110 (1). In an impeller for a centrifugal fan having blades of constant or variable thickness with a continuous smooth surface, the inlet angle of the camber line of the blades is less than 10 degrees and preferably is, as shown, approximately zero. The blade 10 may, as shown, be convex with the respect to the axis 9 of rotation over an initial part of its length and concave over the remainder of its length or may be convex over its entire length.
