Abstract

925,273. Turbine blades. DAIMLER-BENZ A.G. Sept. 29, 1961 [Oct. 15, 1960], No. 35304/61. Class 110 (3). Turbine or compressor blades are mounted in axial slots 12 in a rotor 11 and prevented from moving axially by securing plates B or B<SP>1</SP> located between radially outward directed faces 14 of protuberances 15, formed between the slots 12, and radially inwardly directed faces of platforms 13<SP>1</SP> of the blades. The plates B have two tabs 16, 17 at each end, the tabs 16 being bent radially outwards and the tabs 17 are bent radially inwards. The plates B<SP>1</SP> have only tabs 16<SP>1</SP> at each end which are bent radially outwards and an embossment 18 engaging a recess 19.
