Abstract
623,398. Thermionic valves. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. June 19, 1946, No. 18445. Convention date, April 17, 1942. [Class 39 (i)] [Also in Group XL (c)] In a push-pull amplifier or oscillator for ultra-high-frequencies, tubular parallel conductors placed over the insulating walls of triode valves 1, 2 having cylindrical anodes form a capacitively coupled output circuit minimizing H.F. losses, heating of the anode lead-in seals and neutralizing adjustments when valves are replaced. Adjustable conductors 23, Figs. 4, 5 (not shown), facing the tubes 10 form neutralizing condensers. The lead-ins 13 to the anodes 6 are by way of chokes 12. Similar tubes 9 mounted over the valve bases are connected by rings 17 and conductors to the grids 6. The cathodes 18 are connected to base pins 19 symmetrically connected by straps 16. A plate 22 screens the conductors 9 and 10.
