Abstract

621,162. Mop wringers. HENDERSON, W. M. Oct. 12, 1946, No. 30489. [Class 19] A wringer device comprises a frame 12 of inverted U-form having forked lower end portions 15 adapted for straddling engagement with the rim of a bucket 13 or other receptacle, a roller 11 mounted between the lower ends of the limbs of the frame and a second or movable roller 10 mounted in twin levers 16 pivoted on the frame, said levers being connected to a strut 18 guided by the top portion or bridge of the frame and adapted to be depressed against the stress of a spring 20 whereby to press the movable roller 10 against the fixed roller 11. In use, a swab is pulled upwardly between the rollers whilst the knob of the strut is pressed downwardly.
