938,608. Mop squeezers. H. A. BALL. Jan. 25, 1960 [Jan. 23, 1959], No. 2511/59. Class 19. The presser plate c of a mop squeezer associated with a pail is pivotally mounted at the ends of levers d, e secured to pivot shafts mounted between spaced apart plates a that allow of the squeezer being mounted on the pail and support a perforated bowl b in which a mop is squeezed by the plate c. A handle h secured to the shaft to which the lever d is atttached causes the levers d, e to bring the plate c to or from a mop-squeezing position. A spring g extending between the lever e and a lever f pivoted on the plates a ensures stability of the presser plate in either the squeezing or non-squeezing positions as well as causing the lever f to clamp against the pail to lock the squeezer thereto when the presser plate is squeezing out a mop.
