Abstract

632,296. Mop wringers. TOZER, F. R. Feb. 19, 1946, No. 5155. [Class 19] A mop wringer comprises a frame 10 provided with hooked lugs 11, 12 adapted to clip over the rolled edge of a bucket, a roller 13 rotatably mounted in said frame in a position over the opening of the bucket, and another frame member 14 pivoted to frame member 10 and having a roller 17 supported from said frame 14 or from an extension thereof so that when the frame member 14 is moved down, the roller 17 comes into line with the other roller. The said extension may be a U-shaped part 16, between the legs of which the roller 17 is supported; this extension may be integral with or connected to frame member 14. The mop is pulled between the rollers, pressure being exerted by turning down the frame member 14 ; to facilitate this, the frame member may be tapered to form a narrow part 15 serving as a handle.
