Abstract

219,357. Alexander, D. F. Dec. 17, 1923. Folding mangles and wringers. -A framework b<2> carrying the rollers B is pivotally mounted at b<3> in the frame of a kitchen table so that it may be turned up as shown for wringing or turned down to lie horizontally for mangling or for stowing. In the latter position, the clothes are received after mangling by an inclined guide board a<7>. A pair of swivelled brackets a<1> having thumb screws a<3> serve to hold the framework in either position and a drainboard a<4> is also provided. The washing-machine described in Specification 219,356 may be incorporated in the table, as shown at E.
