701,070. Mops; handles with clamping devices for mops &c. CLAES, C. Dec. 7, 1951 [Dec. 8, 1950], No. 28758/51. Classes 19 and 61 A dish-mop is provided with a removable head, held by a clamp attached to the handle 1, and which comprises a stirrup-shaped member 3 of spring material supporting segmental elements 4a, b which grip the mop head 5. The mop-head, Fig. 4 (not shown) consists of doubled threads of cotton or the like disposed so that the free ends are held by the clamp 4a, b. For releasing the mop head a tool, Fig. 3, is provided, comprising a rod bent so as to form a handle 7 and a pair of hooks 8 which may be passed around one leg of the stirrup 3, Fig. 2, the latter then being opened by pressure on the handle 7. The tool 6 may be mounted on the handle of the mop and utilised for attaching it to a bowl or other vessel.
