A metal wool cleaner 1 attached to a handle 4 has an internal reinforcing wire 2 which co-operates with the pressing down rim 6 of the concave spatula 5 of the handle. The cleaner is clamped to the handle by a quick release nut 7 and screw 8 so that a worn front of the cleaner may be rotated to another position. A tubular rivet 3 secures the cleaner at its centre and provides a bore for the clamping screw.
