761,581. Diamond tools. VAN MOPPES & SONS (DIAMOND TOOLS), Ltd., L. M., and SMITH, N. R. Jan. 12, 1955 [Feb. 18, 1954], No. 4762/54. Class 124 A diamond-tool comprises a diamond 3 of approximately triangular shape set intermediate the ends of a blade 2 which has an operating edge 1 of chisel or V crosssection and which is formed as a powder metal matrix. The blade may be secured by a screw 5 between the jaws of a slotted head 4 of an adaptor with a rearwardly extending mounting stem, 8, the axis of the blade being parallel or at an angle to that of the stem. Alternatively, the blade may be secured by a screw 13 in an offset recess in the adaptor. Specification 575,388 [Group XXII] is referred to.
