Class 19 In a self-wringing mop comprising a sponge rubber pad 4 secured in a U-shaped holder 6 and arranged for squeezing between rollers 7, the holder 6 is carried by rods 9 passing through slots 10 in the support 3. The rods 9 are pivoted on a two-armed lever 11 itself pivoted on the handle 1. The lower part of the handle 1 is curved in order that wear on the pad 4 may be even, while an alternative pivot hole 12 is provided for the lever 11, so that the position of pad 4 relative to the rollers 7 may be changed after wear.
