Abstract

614,725. Sand-blast. SCHORI METALLISING PROCESS, Ltd., and LUMB, C. F. July 22, 1946, No. 21839. [Class 60] In sand-blasting, hot exhaust gases from a jet-propulsion engine on a stationary mounting are used as the motive power for the sandblast material. The gases pass through a pipe 3 to a chamber 2 and water-cooled Venturi tube 4 and induce the admission of sand-blast material and an air stream through a pipe 1. A heat-resisting hose 6 is connected to the tube 4 and to a blast nozzle (not shown).
