[Class 44] In a slidable fastening of the kind adapted to be let into the face of a door, window or the like and having a bolt d slidably mounted behind the plate b and operable by a pivoted finger lever h accommodated in a slot e in plate b. The lever h is pivotally attached at one end to lug g on the bolt d and at an intermediate point to one end of a control lever i which is pivoted at its other end to the plate b. Lever i is loaded by spring j and retains the finger lever h in its limit positions. Bolt d is formed with a flat guide piece d' which contacts with a roller f mounted on the rear of plate b.
