Abstract
599,420. Dough-moulding machines. JOB, E. Nov. 15, 1945, No. 30605. [Class 87 (ii)] A dough-moulding machine, of the kind in which dough is rolled between an endless travelling band 5 and a pressure board 1, is provided with a cutting blade 2 mounted in a bifurcated holder 7 which is pivoted to a bracket 9 so that the blade can be retained in either operative (full line) or inoperative (dotted line) position. In operative position the blade extends through a slot in the pressure board near the delivery end of the machine, to divide the rolled-up piece of dough in two. The blade is adjustably held in operative position by a pivoted stop 25 'and the bolt 19, and is held in inoperative position by a lug 18 resting on the bracket 9 and, if desired, by a pin 20 passed through coincident holes in the bracket and the pivot pin 8. The blade is held in the holder 7 by bolts 10 having enlarged shanks which bear on one side of the blade so that the two arms of the holder are not pressed together. To divide the dough into several pieces, several blades may be mounted in the holder. Specification 599,419 is referred to.
