[Class 18] A carton collapsable without disjointing has combined cover-forming . and handle-forming extensions d, d<1> on two opposite sides b, the handle-forming portion d<5> of one such extension being formed as a tongue arranged to engage a complementary slot d<6> in the other extension so that two handle-shaped parts d<3>, d<5> can be bent upwardly from the cover portions. An additional cover extension c with a tuck-in flap may be provided on a third side b. To permit collapsing, the base a is diagonally creased, and either a central crease x extending at right angles to the portions d, d', or a central crease through these portions, is provided.
