595,099. Boxes. CARTER, N. June 18, 1945, Nos. 15395/45 and 9117/46. [Class 18] A cardboard or like box, formed from a single blank, is provided with one or more cavity walls having ventilating holes provided in the inner and outer walls. The outer wall is. so shaped that ventilation is assured when the boxes are stacked. The box blank may comprise four sections-A, A', B and B', two of which form the lid 7, 9 an outer bottom 8, 10, and two opposed side walls 3, and the other two sections form the opposite cavity side walls 6 and an inner bottom. Openings 25, 26 are provided in the outer cavity walls 6 and openings 24 are provided in the inner cavity walls. In a modification all four walls may be bent outwardly in the manner of the outer cavity walls,
