Abstract

854,400. Cartons. ROBINSON Ltd., E. S. & A. Feb. 11, 1957 [Feb. 9, 1956], No. 4086/56. Class 18. A cardboard drawer and shell box has flaps 6 on the drawer side walls 3 and flaps 11 along the shell side walls 10 which abut each other when the drawer is inserted so that it cannot be withdrawn without mutilating the shell. The drawer is formed from one blank, the flaps 6 being approximately the same depth as the side walls 3 and two-thirds their length, bent over to lie against their outer faces and extending from opposite end walls 4. The shell is formed from two blanks, secured together, one providing a base 9 and the two inner side wall panels 10, each of which has a flap 11 diagonally opposed to the other ; the other providing a top 12, having two lines of perforations 14, and two outer side wall panels 13. After filling, the drawer is pushed into the shell, the flaps 11 being turned down against the inner face of the panels 10, so that the ends of the flaps 6 and 11 abut and the drawer is locked.
