A boost control may serve as the speed-responsive means and the boost pressure actuate either a servo-piston 42 connected to the control ring 9 or a double-pole change-over switch 75, Fig. 5, in circuit with slip rings 76 and an electric motor 74, the rotor of which is rigid with a screwed spindle engaging a nut on the ring 9.
