[Class 106 (ii)] Means for indicating insufficient pressure in a pneumatic tyre 9 comprises a pressureresponsive device such as a Bourdon tube 5 secured to the wheel carrying the tyre, the pressure in the tyre being communicated by a pipe 10 to the Bourdon tube, one end 11 of which is fixed, while the other end 12 is free, When deflation takes place, contacts carried by the two ends 11, 12 engage and close a circuit through a plate 14 rotating with the wheel and a brush 20 to a lamp 22 on the dashboard of the vehicle. In a modification, the Bourdon tube actuates a pointer which closes an electric circuit when indicating less than a predetermined pressure.
