[Class 144 (i)] A device for indicating damage to a pneumatic tyre comprises a series of spring pressed feelers e normally spaced from the tyre and yieldably-mounted in a yoke c which is insulated from a back-plate i. On displacement of any of the feelers e, by the abutment of a projection such as d' at a defective part of the tyre, the corresponding stems are moved into contact with the plate i thereby closing an electric circuit by which a lamp k or other signal, on the steering-wheel or dashboard, is actuated.
