456,626. Pneumatic tyres. SCHWIEN, F., 167, Sch÷nhauser Allee, Berlin. Feb. 21, 1936, No. 5267. [Class 144 (i)] An electricallyoperated device for signalling tyre-deflation comprises a casing 1, 2, fitted with a rubber diaphragm 3 which normally supports a spring-pressed plunger 5 carrying a contact-arm 9a in the signal - circuit. The arm 9a is fitted with a pointer 10 which moves over a scale on the casing 8 enclosing the plunger - rod and the spring 7. In the construction shown, the arm 9a co-operates with a contact 14 on a stationary brake-disc 15. The chamber formed by the casing 2 and diaphragm 3 communicates with the tyre through a pipe 16 fitted with a tee-piece 19 which is connected to the valvestem 17 of the tyre, and is fitted with an inflation-nipple 18.
