A resilient wheel comprises an inflatable tube 14 in a tyre cover 13 protected by a series of arcuate metal sections 9 ... 12 fitted with a rubber &c. tread 26, side-plates 7, 8 connected by bolts 20, 21 passing through radial slots 19 in the side-plates and arcuate sections, and a central spacing-sleeve 29 on which the pneumatic element is seated.
