Abstract

588,441. Grease guns. UNI-GUN LUBRICATING EQUIPMENT, Ltd., and MARTONFALVY, 1. C. DE. Aug, 11, 1944, No. 15368. [Class 102 (i)] A grease gun comprises a pump cylinder 7 fitted with a delivery valve 13 and attached to a container 1 for grease having a spring-loaded follower-piston 16 guided on a tube 17 attached to a nut 18. The piston 16 may be retracted and held in that position by a ring 20 engaging a groove 32. The pump piston is located within the tube 17 and is attached by a self-aligning connection 22 to a rod 23 provided with a handle 24. A spring 27 engaging a collar 26 on the rod 23 retracts the pump plunger.
