Abstract

314,780. Kreidel, H. April 2, 1928. Syringes.-A grease gun com. prises a cylinder a and piston e operated by a handle g. The lower end of the cylinder slides on a valveless tube h, which forms the barrel for a high-pressure plunger i carried by a perforated disc o. A spring k presses the disc o against a shoulder d and the tube h against a packing ring m. When the gun is used against low resistance, the piston e expels the lubricant through the tube h. When the resistance is high, the piston e and cylinder a move together over the tube h, and the plunger i expels the lubricant from the latter. The gun is recharged by immersing the nozzle l in a supply and withdrawing the piston e.
