339,867. Tecalemit, Ltd. Feb. 6, 1930. Addition to 245,738. Piston apparatus for discharging receptacles.-In the grease pump or gun described in the parent Specification, the low pressure piston rod 11 and discharge conduit 4, originally comprising the high pressure cylinder and pistons respectively, form the high pressure piston and cylinder respectively. A spring 12 is arranged between the piston 5 and cylinder 4 in the tapered portion of a container 1, the lower part of which forms a guide for the discharge conduit. When pressure is applied to the container, grease is discharged past the valve 15 and through the pipes 11, 4. Resistance to discharge closes the valve 15 and further pressure on the container 1 moves the piston 5 and rod 11 forward against the spring 12, thus expelling grease at high pressure from the conduit.
