[Class 40 (iv)] In a dual coaxial cable which comprises central conductors 12, 14 and outer conductors 18, 22 in the form of copper braid, the whole being surrounded by copper braid 24 and an insulating covering 10, the propagation constants of the individual circuits are balanced by cutting the cable into two or more lengths and reconnecting them with the central conductors transposed so that each circuit comprises an equal length of both conductors. Examples are shown in Figs. 4, 5 and 6.
