[Class 38 (iv)] In order that a balanced three phase load may be efficiently supplied through two V-connected transformers 7, 8 and 9, 10 from a three phase supply, capacitors 11, 12 which reactively balance the leakage inductance of the windings 8, 10 are connected between the lines 4, 5 and the " open " points of the V. The windings 8, 10 may be the primary or secondary windings of the transformers.
