573,092. Agricultural implements. ADIE, D. R. Nov. 4, 1943, No. 18331. [Class 6 (i)] Hydraulically-operated coupling means for the attachment of agricultural implements to tractors is provided with an adjustable stop 35 by which the downward movement of the links or the like is arrested, and the depth of cut determined. The pump, enclosed in a casing 1 mounted on the tow-bar 2 comprises two pairs of rams 11 driven by eccentrics 13 on a spindle 14 driven from the tractor engine. Oil from the casing is pumped through a control valve 18 to a cylinder 27 containing a piston 28 having a rod 29 pivoted between arms 30 on a rocking shaft 31 linked through arms 32 to the coupling links 5. A lever 24 controls the valve 18. An adjustable stop 35 limits the fall of the links 30 and is carried by a screwed spindle 36 passing through the cover 7 and operated by a hand-wheel 38. A flat face on the stop abuts against the surface 39 and prevents rotation of the spindle. Depth of cut during working may be quickly adjusted by raising or lowering the collar 37a by a forked hand lever 39a. A spring catch 42 holds the arms 30 when the implement is raised from the ground.
