687,641. Agricultural implements. ZUCCA, J. S. July 4, 1951 [July 19, 1950], No. 15817/51. Class 6(i) A device for causing an agricultural implement to by-pass an obstruction such as a tree without changing the direction of travel of the tractor comprises a cambar 13 hingedly mounted on the tractor 9 and provided with a lever 12 which electrically or mechanically actuates a pump 10 flexibly connected to a hydraulic cylinder 6, the piston 6a of which is connected by a link 4 to a towing member 1 pivotally connected to the implement 2 and tractor 9. On striking an obstruction the cam-bar 13 operates the pump to cause the piston of the hydraulic cylinder to move the member 1 laterally thereby causing the implement to avoid the obstruction.
