Abstract

643,213. Agricultural implements. HUDSON, K. E. April 15, 1948, No. 10445. [Class 6(i)] An agricultural tractor is provided with a rear track-eliminator or tool-bar 9 and an intermediate tool-bar 16 mounted between the front and rear wheels, both tool-bars being connected by chains or cables 7, 12 to arms 5, 11 fixed on a transverse shaft 4 about which they can be raised either hydraulically or by means of a manually-operated winch 18. The hydraulic lift (not shown) comprises a jack pivoted to a third arm 10 fixed to the cross-shaft 4. The winch 18, which is connected by a cable 19 to an arm 17 integral with the arm 5, can be utilized in the event of failure of the hydraulic system.
