Abstract
641,330. Agricultural implements. STANDEN, F. A., STANDEN, S. F., STANDEN, P., STANDEN, E., and STANDEN, J., (trading as STANDEN & SONS, F. A.). June 25, 1948, No. 17152. [Class 6(i)] Lifting and lowering mechanism for agricultural implements comprises a number of thrust elements 3 pivotally connected at their rear ends to the front axle of a tractor and connected rigidly at their front ends to the tool carrier 1, and a system of pulley wheels 9, 10 around which passes a cable 12, or cables, leading to a mechanically actuated lifting or lowering mechanism at the rear of the tractor. In the construction shown the cables 12 lead to a pair of lever arms 13 attached to mechanically operated draw bar members provided, in a known manner, on the tractor and having an up and down movement.
